any advice on itinery??

Question

flying to verona, brescia for a 13 night trip with my teenage daughter. we leave on the 16th of may

2 nights staying in verona, daytrip to lake garda.
3 nights in venice
4 nights in florence ?? daytrips to lucca, siena..
2 nights in the chianti region
2 nights in rapallo.

..any help would be greatly appreciated!

I guess itsn't yr first time in Italy and therefore I don't want suggest you any different place.
If I were you I would stay just 1 or 2 night at Venice (one or two days are enough to visit it rather accurately)
I would stay 6 nights in Florence and from there move to the other spots of Tuscany (included the Chianti region).
Florence has an awesome nightlife and yr daughter would be bored in staying 2 nights in the Chianti's country.
From Florence everything (included Chianti region) is at a reasonable distance and then you can daily trip from there to the different highlights.
In the region there are tons of spots worthy with a visit.
Don't miss San Gimignano, Pisa (the leaning tower), Arezzo,
Volterra, Pienza, Montepulciano.

If you can stay 1 day longuer at Rapallo (instead of Venice) I recommend you to visit the "Cinque Terre". They're are 5 small fishers villages on the coast and landscape + nature are unforgettable.

This sounds good.
I liked Verona and would have liked more time there (I was there a day)...It takes about an hour to get in from Brescia to Verona in bus..I am assuming you are with ryanair.
...you may find 3 nights in Venice a bit long...I had 2 nights and felt I had done a good job! It depends on how quickly you race around, but you could do a trip to the murano glass factory which is supposed to be good to fill in time if you need to. Eat lots of gelato..mmmm and there are lots of little stalls worth looking at too.

You can easily take the train to Pisa from Florence too. I did Pisa (not much else apart from the tower) then went on to Lucca and back to Florence in a round trip for a day trip.
Siena is lovely and I would have liked to have seen more (but I booked accommodation in the Siena REGION not the town ..70km away in a littlehillside village called Montepulciano..which was lovely actually...there are buses from Siena.
I don't know much about the Chianto or rapello areas but if its anything like the rest of the area it will be nice.
Just to warn you Florence is busy! Its nice to get away to places like Lucca. ( siena was also busy when I went there too.), but there is a bit to see there and you could spend a day in the museum there (uffizi or something like that...i missed out coz the queues were horrendous and I couldn't be bothered wating in lines to get in!!!).
