Recently, many people speculated that there was a connection to June 6, 2006 - 06/06/06. However, in Revelation chapter 13, the number 666 identifies a person, not a date. Its not actually the devils number, it is just a common fallacy, it is actually the number of the beast or the Anti-christ, it comes from the book of Revelation (Rev. 13:18) It is the number of a man, so we see that it cannot be the Devil himself because he is a fallen Angel not a man. Over the years it has just become one of those legends that evolve with no foundation just popular misconception.

It doesn't. It represents man. Not "a" man; just man. Look up the word six in a good dictionary. Go to the bottom where it says "shared meaning element" and read the definitions there while keeping in mind that man was created in God's image and has a trinity, too. For example, I'm a man, a father, and a son-yet, I'm one person. Consider what I'm saying to you, and you should catch on real quick.
