Everyone is not entitled to their own belief. The worst thing to do when someone challenges your faith is to let it go. Look for answers at the very least. If you give in and let your faith be shattered, it was never really faith at all. Stand by what you believe, otherwise you really don't believe it. If you are willing to give it up, you never believed it.

I used to have a problem with people who challenge my faith. I struggled with the verses and logic to defend my faith in God and Jesus Christ. Then I found a couple places in the gospels where Christ gave us a formula for times like that and since then, it's almost a pleasure to defend my faith or practice it IRL.
and Christ told the disciples, ...... Matt 10:19 "But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak." and again Luke 12:11-12 ....."11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: 12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say..........and also in Luke 21:14 - 15 ...14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist......."All I have to do is stop before I respond and ask the Holy Spirit to use me to answer and then sit back and watch the fun.

There are challenges I have won, and there are ones, that I haven't. The thing that you have to remember is, you can't prove God to anyone. Most of the ones I have lost, I learned valuable new information in trying to find my answers. I do believe God sends those like to you, so strengthen your knowledge and your faith. I love the challenges, I love knowing why I believe and remembering all the times He was faithful to me.

Whenever someone challenges your faith?Don't take it for the sake of argument,Then you must go further to analyze that why someone challenging your faith?, there should be something missing/lacking for someone to challenge your faith,Otherwise how someone dare to challenge your faith? So go deeper in to it and find out the truth? who is right and who is wrong, if you are right then stick to your faith, if you are wrong then give up this faith and follow the right one!!!

i don't have a dogmatic faith.Buddhism is based on logic.anyone can challenge my logic anytime they want because i have as good a logical brain as anybody's.i listen to that person and if that person is making sense that's great! if not,i try pointing out to them WHY,in my opinion they're not making sense.if he/she has a logical mind he/she will 1st LISTEN to what i'm saying with an open mind.agreeing or not is their business.and ditto for me.if a person goes on and ON non stop about something which i don't share the same view,i change the subject because there's no point in having unnecessary fights that lead to nothing but unpleasantness.

By keeping the number of things I must support on faith alone to a bare minimum. Right now that set includes only my retirement fund, everything else I've pretty much got on a factual footing.

Just Remember:
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us, who are being saved it is the power of God" 1 Corinthians 1:18
"For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent" 1 Corinthians 1:19
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty, and the base things of the world and the things which are despised, God has chosen..." (1 Corinthians 1:27-29).

You did mean the Christian faith...right? Ha ha

I'm an agnostic. My faith is constantly challenged. Each challenge is an opportunity to learn.

Critically think about the events and try to rationalize them to form my own hypothesis of the way the world actually works. Just kidding, I just toss them aside and say god did it so I don't have to do any thinking of my own. It's so much easier that way.
