Acne is really tough to control. Try getting good exercise, and cutting down on your sugar intake. Eat lots of food that has good vitamins for your skin. Pork is good, and so are the dark green and orange veggies.
Try to exfoliate (have a facial) at least once a week. Wash your face twice a day, and experiment with not using make up. Sometimes, make up makes things worse. But sometimes it doesn't matter.
Experiment with eating meat, and not eating meat. Is your acne related to your period? Take notes, and keep a food diary -- that can help your doctor figure out what you have.
You may need to get a different doctor, too. I went to a doctor in college for my acne, and he prescribed antibiotics -- which helped to a certain extent, but also set me up for yeast infections and many problems. I was afraid to go for help for many years, but finally I asked the doctor who was treating my daughter's eczema if there was anything that could be done -- and he gave me some lotions that were really helpful! They didn't cure my acne 100 percent, but it is so much better as long as I'm careful about what I eat.
Keep trying, and good luck!

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

chilled vinegar and equal part of distilled water to close your pores and tone your skin. do twice weekly, also can use the chilled vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily.

raw unpasturized apple cider vinegar..
the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."
to drink, add to water and honey, or to apple juice.
you can get the vinegar at the health food store, or in some super markets.
