The color and nationality has no bearing on who Jesus was. He was the Messiah (Holy One) IA true Christain would have no problem with this. People that would, really need to examine themselves in their faith. The many portraits that you see of Jesus being a different color is nothing more than the artists interpratation. The Bible says in Genisis 1:26-27 that God made man in His image and likeness. that should teach us that it shouldn't matter what color Jesus was. Interesting note though is; all colors of the skin bleed red blood. So even though we may be different in skin color, we are all the same. I kind of like that. The Bible says that there is one God and you are all Brothers... To me that is what matters.

The color of the skin that happened to cover his earthly body makes no difference -- and it shouldn't make a difference to anyone. I think, however, that it is the message that counts and not Jesus's appearance, so if a person feels more comfortable relating to Jesus when depicted as their ethnicity, its no big deal.
The funny thing is that if Jesus was walking around in a human body today, he would probably have trouble making it through airline security, as Jesus would have had dark hair and olive skin.

It would not matter to me what colour Jesus was. It makes no difference, it's His message and that He was God's son that is the important thing.

If you only see the color of the skin, you would need to have your eyes opened. It would not matter if He was red with green hair. Jesus is the Son of God and if we are to follow Him, we are to do so in spirit(no color involved or gender) and in truth. Love has no color barrier.
