Why do you say "ur god"? I worship the same God as did Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Abraham and Jacob were some of the most famous polygamists in the Bible, and God certainly approved of them. Does that answer your question?

I guess I would answer that it depends on the time and circumstances. There are times in the Bible that God commanded or allowed polygamy and times when he commanded against it. I suppose I would say that God would allow it when he tells His prophets He allows it (who in turn tell His people). Can't get any clearer than that.

Ah! Now that you've learned to spell, in a manner of speaking, I can say that God, who does not necessarily belong solely to me, instructed that a man should take his brother's widow and care for her as his own, which is how polygamy is designed to operate. Under the tenants of the radicals who do this, the man may take the widow of any member of his faith (his "brother") as his second, third or fourth wife, care for her, provide for her and her children, and may not marry a virgin, a woman under 18 or a woman of direct blood to his other wife/wives (not her sister, mother, aunt or other close relative). Is there anything wrong with taking care of a widow and her children? Why would you oppose it?

I don't know mormon, I'm a muslim and Allah allows polygamy. why? to avoid adultery (for example, when your wife is having the time of the month). It's better than being a monogamy and having lots of mistress outside.

According to tradition, god indeed likes polygamy, and apparently we are the result of those unions between him and his harem of babes. Apprarently there is something like sex in heaven, but not much is revealed about the actual process.
It is estimated that for every person living on earth today, there are 13 'ghosts'. Not sure how valid that is but multiply 13 times 6 billion.
Wow. God can certainly do *anything*, no?

depends on the mormon you ask. most mormons do not practice polygamy but today it is still being practiced by very few. I am not mormon but would like to at least let you know that it is looked down upon by most mormons today.

Jacob 2:27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none;...
30 For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, I will command my people; otherwise they shall hearken unto these things.
Why did God allow polygamy in the Bible?

Perhaps you can consult your Bible and asks Abraham, Isaac amongst other prophets the same question as to why the Lord commanded them to take multiple wives.

Their God also is the only God, or the only faith that believes in evolving into a God or Goddess. They believe that their God has many wives in heaven already and so does their Jesus. Might as well ask a Muslim to why they would alllow poligamy to.
