There's nothing seriously wrong, so relax. The body jerks, as I call them happen when you are falling asleep or dozing because they are actually a form of sleep disorder. It's up there with Restless Legs Syndrome.
If you go to a sleep disorders clinic (look in the yellow pages) you could probably get a medication that will prevent the twitches.
Check it out! What have you got to lose besides the twitches?

You should go to your doctor, twitching during sleep is normal because you could be dreaming, but sitting in a chair is different. There is an illness that causes twitching to, so I would definitley want to get checked out.

i guess it would depend on how you twich, and what body part does it. i twitch too sometimes, but i wear pants. if you have a physically demanding job, your muscles will twitch until you change positions or flex a little. if your job requires repetitous movement, you might look into that. maybe your just paranoid.

I use to feel that sometimes. Mine wanst serious but the reason it happend was because of the blood flow to my head. Just go see a doctor it could be serious.

Sounds like mussel spasms to me. If you have been working out more then usual lately it will cause this. It's harmless and is caused by over working your mussels.

No, it happens to me from time to time. I think it is normal. I don't know why it happens though.
