I'm 5ft 8", 13 yrs old, and am (asshamed of my weight) a little over 200lb... I know that I am at risk for a LOT of bad things (Ex: Diebetes) I want to be healthier, but what happens, is my sister is soooo mean to me... so I guess I binge eat..... I know I shouldn't, but I do anyways... I don't like sports much, but that's because I really haven't played them in a while.... I no I have to get up off of my *** and excercise.... but I don't know what to do...Also the reason why I want to lose this amount of weight by September is so that I'll freak people out, mainly the people who always accidentally bump into me, and their friends say "I can't believe you didn't see her, I mean she's big..." Yea, so I don't want that to happen ever EVER AGAIN!

To: Anyone who answered this seriously, Thanks! :D

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

It is very possible to lose 40 lbs by September if you start now. The best way is to count calories. For you, 1500 calories is about what you need to eat each day to lose weight, but not feel like you're starving. Along with counting calories, you need some exercise. A daily 30 minute walk is enough. If you are really motivated to lose weight, you can add some crunches, push ups, etc. to your routine. If you have a bicycle, go ride it! If you have cable TV, check for a channel called FIT TV. It airs a lot of exercise shows that you can follow. I hope this is enough info to get you started, and good luck!

Yes, speak to a doctor because you can put yourself in danger if you try to lose too much too fast. Not to mention that those who lose it fast, through fad diets and what not, (yes those diets do work), will gain it all back and then some once they start eating real food again.

The best way to lose weight is slowly while eating regular food. A doctor can map out a healthy weight loss plan that will help you lose weight.

The most important thing you need to remember though if you really want to lose weight and keep it off you need to make life changes, not just change what you eat.

Go to a doctor - this is your best bet. There could be medical reason's other than eating too much of the wrong foods that is causing your obesity. If this is the case your efforts without a doctor's help will be waisted and you could put your health in serious danger.

Please speak to your doctor. It is impossible to lose that much weight that quickly without hurting yourself. It's also dangerous for someone of your age to seek weight loss advice online. Speak to your doctor and parents about a healthy diet and exercise plan. If you do this, you will lose a good amount of weight and keep it off. The summertime is a great time to join some sports like swim team and soccer. The main thing to remember is to stay active. Don't worry about impressing people when school starts. They will be proud of you no matter what.

run and eat healthy, this is the easiest way and the safest too.... don't listen to idiots that are telling you to stop eating, that doesn't work at all it's just going to kill you, you can do it and you are so young. You have a full life ahead of you.... be strong and say no to sweets.... best wishes.
