I would think you would start by changing whatever you are doing keeping the things you like and trashing everything else, make a move to a different area and start over again fresh. I think that's a good thing to do in life anyway so you don't get bored with the hum drum ruts we can fall into. I hope that helped.

You have to get yourself back again. When you are so burned out you seem to lose sight of what is goo or important to you an end up feeling sucked dry. To find yourself or get yourself back you need to get your focus again, you need to push everything that is burning you out and focus within. You can deal with all the burn out stress later right now focus on you. And catch up on your sleep but don't over do it.

So try taking a whole weekend where you detox your system, rent movies you have been waiting to watch, try meditating, write in a journal about how you are feeling because this also helps get it out. And look at the way you have been living life an see if there are some boundaries you need to set in order to prevent this from happening again.

Do simple things like take time out for you, rent some funny movies, go eat some ice cream, spend time with positive an supportive friends, do the hobbies that make you feel good. Go out somewhere outside away from everyone and everything and reconnect with yourself. Try detoxing your system with veggies, fruit, and water for a weekend. This will clear your head an your system. You can then go back to regular eating when the weekend is over.

Stay away from drinking or drugs. When you are going thru burnout it would be really easy to get addicte to something.

Being burned out comes from having to face the same stresses every day.

You could take some time off and do something you've always wanted to do. Don't include any co-workers or people that are causing part of the "burn out." Go to a lecture on any thing OTHER THAN your day to day problems.

Distraction and relaxation helps a lot. Meditation can calm your mind so that you can better cope with being burned out.

Also, check with your boss, or whom ever, and TELL them how you feel. You never know....they may have just the change you need.
