yeah hun sounds like you have cold sores which is hsv type 1..hsv aka herpes simplex virus type 1...no cure for it because it is a viral infection, it will go away on its own, dont kiss anyone right now but know you can pass this on to anyone even if you do not have any symptoms and one of the main modes of transmission of type 2 herpes (genital) is from type 1 ..oral sex! so please be careful..if its hurting you can take some tylenol try not to drink or eat any acidic foods like citrus fruits, soda, crap like that...give it a few days and it will go away..most of the time an outbreak will occur if youre stressing out or before your period because of hormonal fluctuations but remember theres is no cure you can put zinc oxide on it and there's even lip ointment but i would just leave it alone and keep the area clean..good luck hun.

Have you been stressed out lately?

It sounds a little like you have oral herpes. About 3/4 of the people in the world have it, and it's not serious...just recurring under stress. Otherwise, it may just be a cluster of cold sores. They are contagious if you exchange saliva, but it's not contagious through just air.

It's probably herpes, some people get herpes not through sex, they just have the sickness in their bodies already. Are they white, and does it hurt at all? You should see a doctor before it gets any worse,I could help figure it out better if you told me any other symptoms your having. Do you have a bump in your neck, genitals.
Swollen lymph glands
Headaches
Muscle aches
Fever
Lower back pain
those are symptoms of herpes.

IT sounds like Herpes Cold Sores. You need to go to the Dr.
now or walk in clinic to get it checked out. In the meantime no kissing baby, wash your hands after touching lip, etc.

Could be herpes; see a doctor to be sure and recommend some treatment. No kissing and no oral sex until the sores are gone! Herpes is contagious.

Gosh it could be a number of things. Over the counter, try abbreva.... and do not pop them. once they are exposed they are more likely to spread. and no kissing your baby, but I know you know that already. I personnally would make a doctors appointment. you can also try a self test at webmd.com. they will ask you a bunch of questions to help narrow down the possible diagnosis.

maybe triple antibiotic --neosporin--also try this--take an asprin or alka-selzer and wet it then put this on ur lips, it will dry it, take the swelling down , but definately neosporin--u can also put L-lysine on it like the asprin, try not to touch it except when treating.
