how much weight will a person loes if they do a green tea fast for 2 weeks?just wondering i know it could mess up ur immune system and i dont need to loes weight im 125 5'5. just wanted to know ause my friend told me bout it and i just wanted to see what yall guys know and how much will they loes if they do it for 3 weeks? hope yall answer me and will u loes more on a green tea fast or water fast?

a short term fast will result in nothing but the loss of water weight as the body utilizes all available sugar in the body for use as energy. then it moves on to catabolizing muscle tissue as energy. only after the majority of muscle mass has been catabolized will the body start to tap into fat stores for use as energy.

a 2 week fast might result in 10+ lbs of water weight, you will lose no measurable amount of body fat from fasting. once you regain normal eating patterns you will most likely regain the weight lost as the body replenishes it's stores of glycogen (stored blood sugar).

The amount of weight lost will depend on the amount of exercise carried out during the fast. Also, once the body realizes it is not receiving nourishment, it will begin to slow metabolism to conserve calories. Water and plain green tea should both have 0 calories so should not make a difference as to how fast weight is lost.
That being said, following a sensible well balanced diet divided into several small meals and snacks throughout the day with a minimum of food the last few hours before bedtime, accompanied by an appropriate exercise program will result in the healthiest long term weight loss without damaging the body.

YEAH GIRL thats fine. Green Tea is super good for ya, replace coffee with itt and whenever you're hungry drink up a cup! It curbs you're appetite too so the fast will be easier!

You first must decide if you really need to lose weight...the body mass index is the best way to decide if your weight is good or bad. The main thing is to find out what your BMI is, (Body Mass Index) and then decide if you want to lose weight.

Some people fast to cleanse their bodies from toxins which is a good thing...But just to lose weight or fast for no apparent reason is not good and can start you on a roller coaster of bad habits.. The main thing is to exercise and limit your intake of foods and then if you do want to have a fast for cleansing your body, that would be different.. take care

if you have not fasted before be careful, green tea is very good for you it deprnds on your person
