i found a small, white pill that has a large "M" on it with numbers on the other side. I was told it was an oxycontin. Is this true?

The numbers on the other side are 05/52 I think - the pill is very small. Also - the "M" is inside of a tiny square. Thanks for any help.

Anytime you don't know what a pill is call the poison control center and they will gladly tell you. You may have to tell them why you are asking. Addicts abuse this privilege often to verify pills they aren't familiar with or are new to the market.

IT COULD EASILY BE A 5 MG IMMEDIATE RELEASE GENERIC OXYCONTIN. I TAKE THEM FOR BREAK THROUGH PAIN. THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER USES A SIMPLE ID SYSTEM ON THEIR PILLS, THE LETTERS OC ON ONE SIDE AND THE MG, 10, 20, 40, 80 ON THE OTHER. THESE ARE ALL CONTROLLED RELEASE, THE WHITE 5 MG IS AN IMMEDIATE RELEASE PILL.
