I hope not. On both counts.

I have to agree with tentofield's response. It is rather arrogant to believe that we are the only place in this enormous universe that has life. As far as them having the same God (and this is an assumption that everyone believes there is a god) that is a definite 'no'. I think that if we were to stumble on a more advanced civilization, they would not have religion. Religion as it is now, will be responsible for the destruction of mankind if it is not removed from society. Every religion believes that their way is right etc and they are prepared to do ANYTHING to enforce their beliefs, even die themselves.
Life definitely exists elsewhere in the universe (and abundantly). It is just human arrogance to believe we are the centre of the Universe. That kind of thinking is what has stunted human progress and will continue to do so until we are enlightened.

Im sure there is life on other planets, Its stupid people that are so selfish to think that life can only exist here and there is only one god in the universe.

There are about 300 billion stars in our galaxy and about 300billion galaxies. Many of those stars have planets and those that have them have more than one. Let us suppose that, on average, every star has one planet then there are 900 billion billion planets out there. (And I am not considering moons )

I think it is very presumptuous to imagine that ours is the only planet on which life has appeared. There could be life on other bodies in our solar system. We haven't found it yet but we have hardly started looking.

Why should other life forms have the same gods as the Earth? There are thousands of gods on this planet, nearly every culture and society has its own gods. Other planets will have theirs if they think gods are necessary.

No one knows for sure if there is life elsewhere, but there must be because life happens. We're here.
There are no gods. Christianity is a geocentric religion since his supposed 'one and only son' was born here on this planet to die for the sins of a bunch of half-wit humans 2000 years ago.

We are the only planet with a Sun, we are the only planet with life. So there is no other God except the God that created all things in Heaven and Earth. Don't make me testify now

The bible says that in the end God will roll up the universe like a scroll. Now think about it, if there was life somewhere else their lives would revolve around our planet and what God has in store for us. I don't believe there is life in our universe.

So far as we know this is the only planet with life that we know of. Maybe tomorrow we will find another planet full of happy innocent natives to exploit, (and exterminate), who knows

i dont know what their beliefs would be, but why would god creat such a large universe and put only one lifely planet in it? but if there is only one...we are really showing god how much we appreciate it (green house gasses, trash, the works...)

As to your first question, I doubt it. As to the second, its possible, but really if they worship anything, people will hail it as "their God" and that if two planets worship the same thing, it proves his existence.
