Risotto is a very easy rice recipe. You can get quite few different Risotto recipe's. If you type Risotto in to search engine you should find quite a lot of recipe's. I have a sort of recipe, but I just kinda make it up as I go along.
2 Medium chopped Tomatoes
2 Medium chopped Mushrooms
1 Medium finely chopped Onion
Any cooked meat you like what ever meat you have left over from last nights dinner or cook some meat.
Any flavour Stock cube, depending on what meat you cook
1 pint of hot water
I think 4oz of risotto rice, roughly 2 oz per person
oil
pinch of salt and pepper
Parmesan cheese
Optional Herbs
Add oil to a frying pan of sotay pan, then add onion and fry until golden. Add risotto rice, stir and fry for 2 minutes. Add about a quarter of the hot water with the stock cube in it to the pan, stir and simmer. When the water has almost gone, add another quarter of the stock, stir and simmer, gently keep doing this until rice become softer. You might need to add extra water if stock runs out and the rice isn't soft enough. When rice is getting softer and there is still some water in the pan add tomatoes, mushrooms and meat, stir and cook those for about 10 to 15 minutes. When ready sprinkle some Parmesan cheese, season, add herbs (optional) and serve.

First, choose a good quality aromatic rice...like Basmati. Heat you skillet to med. heat and add about 1 tsp. virgin olive oil. When the oil is hot, but not smoking (olive oil heats up and breaks down faster than other oils so keep an eye on your pan) add about 1/2 of a chopped white or yellow onion and 1 cup rice. Toast the rice/brown the onion about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the burner and add 1 1/2 cups chicken/beef broth depending on you main dish meat. Add 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. You can also add veggies to the skillet such as carrots, celery, peppers. Stir to evenly distribute liquid and return to heat. Put a lid on skillet. When rice begins to boil, reduce heat and cook until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Also, try adding some soy sauce (omit salt) if you want an Asian flair or add some coriander, turmeric and a little cumin for an Indian flair. Play with it. Rice is great.
Note: when you add the broth to the skillet, it will bubble up, steam and if you're not careful, burn you.

If you have rice there are several things to do, but this is our favorite boil rice untill soft and fluffy, then take a tablespoon of butter or marg, any oil is fine take a handful of oniouns, bell peppers, red, yellow, & celery is a option you can add this to any rice, brown, white, yellow, or even wild rice, then add some boneless chicken, and if you want add some brockaly. If you like stir fry you can do this same recipe; except you soak your chicken in soy sauce, and use sesame oil, or peanut oil, when i don't have any thing I use vegatable oil, add your favorite oriental veggies, and rice stir in a very good teriakyi sauce, because the cheaper ones make your food taste bad, try (very very teriakyi sauce) add about 2 teaspoons I do this for my kids afterschool it only takes about 30 minutes

Cook the rice, then dump some soy sauce or BBQ sauce in it. That's really easy. If you like Kimchi (Korean cabbage) then you can make a good soup to eat with it. Buy some Kimchi and put it in a pot with some water and tuna fish. Boil it for about 10 minutes and eat it with your rice. It's pretty good. But I guess if I wanted to give the best answer I would find a bunch of recipes on the Internet and cut and paste them for my answer.

How does normal rice sound like?
I'm a Persian and we just cook rice normally and eat it with other stuff like ghormeh sabzi (veggie stew+meat) or even fish.
After you wash the rice let it sit in saltwater for about an hour or two (my mom usually puts it in saltwater over night).
Then dump it into boiling water (just like when you wanna cook pasta). Don't forget to add oil and salt.
After about 5-6 minutes (depending on the type of rice, we use basmati) take it out of the water. Test it to see if it has enough salt. If it is too salty then you could rinse it with cold water.
You could dump it back into the pot and cover it so it would cook. But we sometimes put some slices of potato at the bottom.
What you do is that you would slice the potato into chips like shapes (but thicker) then you put oil at the bottom of your pot and add a bit of zafron that you have disolved in some hot water. Put the slices of potato in the oil (don't overlap). Then after that dump the rice on top of it. Then cover it up and it is always best to put a cloth or something on the pot before you put the lid on.
Oh don't forget to turn down the heat. Put it on low or between low and medium. You don't wanna burn the potatoes.
The rice would be ready after 30 minutes.
Now you could always add anything you want to the rice after you have taken it out of the boiling water. For examples we sometimes add lima beans, or dark greens such as spinach, or even meat. But you have to cook them first :D
Good luck.

I'm not sure if this counts as a recipe but sometimes I make some rice and then toss it up into a little pot of heated Chunky Campbell's soup.

1.first you turn on the fire to medium high heat.
2.The you put 4 teaspoon of vegetable oil and two tea spoon of salt.
3.wait till the salt starts frying
then you add water. ( the amount of water you adde depends on the amount of rice you making you always put one more cup of water than what you put of rice!) For example if you are putting 4 cups of rice you sould add 5 cups of water.
4.then wait till water is boiling and add the rice.
5. the wait till the rice half absorbs the water and then turn the heat dow to med low and cover the rice.
6. It sould be done in about 30 mins!!

I'm not a big fan of rice, so when I serve it, I usually put in a package of dry salad dressing mix when I cook it. Ranch or Italian are good. (Hope that's okay. A gourmet, I'm not. But it could be worse--I have a friend who put Campbell's soups in hers...)
