You are absolutely right Miss! I am just a cat and this lady, Alice, is using me as an avatar because she says I look better than she. So vain she is.....
But I do not want this, because she writes nonsense and stupidities that degrade me to my fellow cats in Y!A.
I agree with you, she must put her picture as avatar and leave me alone. Miawwwwwww.....

Is this your real photo? How come just a while ago, it went by the name of Julia Peculiar or something like that? Using a Yahoo Avatar is no big deal - we are all just to and to answer questions. It's the content and value of your questions that is more important. What comes out of your heart and from within you is of more importance to me than your external looks - that is the real you and from what is coming out of you all this while, I would have to say in all honesty, is far uglier than your mug shot! Now, is this the real you or just some scare little girl trying to hide behind a tough front! Come on out - be yourself and stop hiding your real self from us!

I do exactly no longer likely think of it incredibly is secure for a woman to be posting her photograph everywhere in the internet (extraordinarily on singles sites). Plus too many human beings choose by using appearances basically. Yahoo!solutions is meant to be approximately what you're saying or ask---no longer with regard to the style you look.

I think some people feel the need to protect their privacy. After all, not everyone is open with their friends, family, co-workers about their religion or sexual orientation or even political affiliation. If a person has a fundie christian boss and/or family and posts on Y!A as a gay satanist, it could make their real life pretty hard.
I, however, am pretty open with everyone I know and don't have that problem. So I choose to use my picture instead.

Having a lot of reason for doing this. first, they want to protect themselves. Who can guarantee that their photo will not be "stolen" to use for bad aim.second, they only want to make friends, not to look for partner(G/F or B/F). They want others like them for the beauty of their soul , their characteristic , not for their appearances.A true sentiment .

well, not all of us find it worth our while putting up our own photos, and its more fun to play about with a cartoon image, I cant speak fir others but I did try to get mine as similar as I could- hair style, glasses, eye shape..etc and you gotta accept its impossible to create an ugly looking aviator on here! I just wish they had my hair colur, I'm a (bottle) red head not a brunette!
