The one good thing about the responses so far is that they're telling you to get a professional opinion.

The reason that's a good thing is that, otherwise, they don't know what they're talking about.

You're likely experiencing depression, but you will need a professional to ask you specific questions to be able to determine if that's what's really going on. Depression is really common and you hit some of the main symptoms, but it's never as simple as to just be able to say "I'm a depressed person". Your binging is its own eating disorder. Binging is also common, but it has nothing to do with depression.

Talking to a professional is imperative. I diagnose children and adolescents with mental disorders, but I wouldn't dare do it over the internet. You need a clinical visit.

You don't know that it's depression. You haven't mentioned your age, gender...anything of the sorts that could be causing these feelings. For a diagnosis of depression, one of the criterion is a specific time period in which these feelings are happening. You could just be feeling 'moody', or something like that.

Everyone experiences feelings such as this in their lifetime. And the best thing to do is to talk about them, or to deal with them, not to look to put a title to the feelings.

Your primary focus now is getting some help to see if there is something causing these feelings, and how they can be helped. NOT what you name them.

Go to your doctor, or tell your mother. If you're feeling suicidal, head on over to the emergency room, or call a hotline.

1-800-784-2433 is the National suicide hotline.

Also, in the front of your phonebook there should be a list of other resources that you can call for people to talk to.

You're just plain depressed. Your symptoms don't sound like manic-depression or anything like that. My best advice for you is to speak with a therapist and see about getting some sort of medicinal treatment.

Sounds like you have clinical depression, a lot of symptons I have.
You definately sound like you need to talk to a therapist, and get checked for a chemical imbalance.
