Not all priests are gay(less then1/2 percent were found out to be gay pedophiles) and the Catholic Church does not preach an anti gay message. That would be like saying are all protestants ministers gay, how about all school teachers, police officers, etc....

People are funny sometimes. People will preach against something and then we find out later they actually do what they preach against. Alot of us are guilty of doing that. Priests and non priests.
Not all catholic priests an anti-gay message. Not all of them are gay.

Didn't know "all" catholic priests were "gay" preaching anti-gay messages. Defeats the purpose of being one don't you think? If everyone thought of everyone else with bigotry catagorizing each other, wouldn't that be much the ways Hitler thought of many in the world, and why he had many killed?..

I know of religious who are gays. But not priests. Just brothers and single blessednesses, as far as I know. Hmm. I do not believe Catholic priests preach such messages. I am educated in a Catholic school all my life and the priests in our school are okay with the gay population just as long as they do not engage with sexual activities with men. Both straight or not.

Where do you get your statistics? If you are talking about the sex abuse problem, less than 1% of the priests have been accused and according to the John Jay College of Criminal Justice most of the incidents were in the 70s and 80s. Even the cases that are being brought forward are about incidents or alleged incidents of many years ago.

What a stupid question. Not all priests are gay. Plus, the priests who are attacking the kids aren't wht the gay community would call gay, but deviants. They are pedophiles.
Gay people are into gay people their own age.

I think that you are getting confused between the definition of what it is to be gay and to be a paedophile....the two are definately not affiliated!!!! The majority of catholic priests are straight.

Care to cite your evidence that "all" priests are gay?
I know a priest who used to be married (he became a priest after his wife passed away).
So, there's at least one priest in America who isn't gay. Right there, your "all priests are gay" claim is debunked.

If I'd filled in the blank with some stereotypical comment, you'd be screaming your head off about what a terrible racist bigot that I am. . .and you'd be right. Any time you lump all members of a group into some category, you're stereotyping them.
So what gives you the right to do something to others that you'd hate having done to you? I believe that's called hypocrisy, and your behavior in this forum is a prime example of that very trait.
