im like super terrifyed of the dentist and tomorrow i have a dentist appointment...?

im getting x rays and everytime they put those things in my mouth i pushthem out and gag. i have never been able to leave them in. what can i do so i wont gag?

The only thing that you can do to not gag is to maybe ask th dentist if there is a slightly smaller one that they may use on children because you gag on a large one. Maybe the child fit would be more suitable for sensitive gag reflexes like yours. Whether the dentist will give a child fitted bit for your xrays, or not, you should should ask your dentist where the best5 place to put your tongue would be so to not gag. If you have a smaller tray or bit, and you keep your tongue near your front teeth, (people tend to put their tongue to the back of their mouths when they have something in their mouths) as long as you have a smaller fit, and keep your tongue positined correctly, you should be free of gags!) breathe thru your nose. i have a really small mouth and it is almost impossible to even get those things in there, and i gag really bad too. just take slow deep breaths thru your nose and dont think about it. it really helps. good luck.

This is a wives tale but people use it. Salt sprinkle it on your tongue - or take very long slow deep breaths out your nose.

YOU have imagine you will choke, and you will not. Think of and concentrate on the results, that they will give you better health with xrays. Chose better health than the fear based on nonsense.
