im 14 years old, and 4'10. It seems like im not growing, but i really want to be taller...is it possible? also my mom is 4'11, dad is 5'10.

Be patient...you could start "sprouting" at any time...
from where you are now until you're around 20 you'll continue to grow. How much? Take a look at your father and that will give you some indication.

It has alot to do with heritary factors and also if you are male or female? I'm going to assume you are a male? Males tend to grow to be at least as tall as their fathers. Now, what is the average height in the males in your family? By family I mean even back to grandfathers, uncles, big brothers, etc. Take the average height and figure you will more than likely be at least the average height that runs in the family. Don't worry...you will begun to sprout up like a bean sprout in another year or so...lol. It happens fast so be prepared. Don't worry. Being short isn't so bad either, you know. All ppl can't be tall. Short ppl have their pros too. Hope I've helped some. Take care... and by the way..don't listen to ppl with negative answers. Hate to break it to ya, but probably you won't get any taller due to your genetic predisposition.
When I was 14, I was 5 foot 9, and my doctor said I'd grow to be 6 foot 1. Well, now I'm 18 and I'm still standing at 5 foot 9, so I guess some people just stop growing at 14.

Look at your frame and see if it looks like mom. It is then possible to assume you might only reach a few more inches. If your frame is like dad's you couyd still grow over the next few years 4-7 inches.

If ur only 14 then u probably will grow sum more in the nxt four years but i cant guarantee that u'll grow to 5'4 because every1's different.

most cases, children out grow their parents. on the other hand, girls who have started the period are pretty much finished growing taller. they now get curvier!
