I have a flash drive "usb" and i want to watch a movie i put on to it with my t.v. i have a dvd player but no usb outlet, what is the cheapest way i can watch this movie with my flash drive on my tv?

Note, T.V. isn't by the computer, And I really don't want to move things around right now, i no that would be the best thing to do, but i want solutions to geting the flash drive into the t.v.

Are you sure your TV can play movies from its USB port?
Most TVs use the port for firmware upgrades or to display photos. Even if it plays movies, I doubt it supports VOB files from a DVD.
To watch a movie from your DVD, just connect it via component or composite cables. Read your TV's user manual for more details.

Hook up your tv as the monitor for your computer... That would let you watch the movie on the tv.

a media laptopPC....or a computer that has WinXP/Media center.....could link the PC to TV and run the movie via Media Center....
