...when it plainly states that he can and will, to those who are wicked? It STATES PLAINLY that he will! What is it about that which people don't get?

So if it clearly states in another book with better credentials , that god doesn't exist and we won't be going to hell, we should believe that right. It states very plainly that he doesn't and won't.

Do you see the fallacy in the logic you're applying?

It also clearly states in your book that a bat is a 'bird of the air'. Should we believe that even though we know it's not true?

Why do people think for a second that God will throw them in hell? That is, if you believe that he won't and if you're a good person who loves him and loves his people. Both Christians and non-believers, muslims, and other faithfuls. I do not think it was plainly stated, have you read it in the Bible? If so, I'd want to read it too. There must have been a misinterpretation.

God loves you!

Because Hell is the grave. There never was a torture sentence. The wages of sin is death. We that view things as you have pointed out understand the definitions of the words used to describe Hell from the original Greek and Hebrew. We also believe in a God of mercy.

The religions that taught this Hell torture were invented in the day where education was at a low point and language was misunderstood and the Bible was not a common book in homes.

Hell was used as a method of keeping church members to provide financial support, in truth, the teaching is basically saying the wages of not giving us money is torture.

What states plainly that he will? The Bible? Let me see...someone writes a book to convince people to believe what they want them to believe. In it, they say that anyone who doesn't believe what they want them to believe is going to be thrown into Hell.
So if I write a book, and STATE PLAINLY that you must believe what I want you to believe, (ex: that there are fairies dancing on my lawn) or you will be cast into a lake of fire, you're going to believe it?
Look, it's not that we don't GET it, it's that we don't BUY it. The Bible is self-serving. "Believe that this book is true or you will be punished. How do you know the book is true? Because the book says so."

Probably because hellfire is a pagan doctrine and completely at odds with Biblical teachings. Probably because the God of the Bible said that He hated what the Canaanites were doing when they burned their babies for the god Molech. He said that such a thing had never come up into His heart. There is a penalty for sin. It is death. We will return to the ground from which we were formed and await a resurrection. Non-existence. God is love. Hellfire was popularized by Dante and incorporated into so-called Christianity long after Jesus' death.

I know that god won't throw me in hell. I know this, because neither god nor hell exists. It would be pretty childish to fear being thrown into an imaginary place by an imaginary person.

And think about this: where does it STATE PLAINLY that god will throw people into hell? Has this been proven or observed anywhere besides one particular collection of stories?

Then don't be wicked! DURRRRR!

Wickedness is basic wrong that everyone knows: theft, rape, murder, abusing children, etc.

I don't believe for a second God will throw a good man in the pits of the Infernum for stating that he doesn't believe in God. It is hard for me to persecute someone for having a diffrent religous belief, after all that is what Christ was murdered for.

Because they may fear the Truth who is Jesus The Christ who will Judge them with His all seeing eyes that pierce their hearts. They can run til the end of their earthly life, but the race will be over and they will lose. ALL because they are too prideful to NEED a Savior. They bow to themselves only. The Word of God says that ALL will bow to Jesus at The Second Coming and claim He is Lord. Believe God's Word as it will and does prove itself over and over, but then again, I guess ya hafta want to see it to believe. And yes there are many religions, beliefs out there as someone stated in their ans. So??? MAN WITH HIS OPINIONS AND BELIEFS IS NOT THE JUDGE WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE. GOD ALMIGHTY IS!!!!

Very simple, and here is the entire problem with Christianity:
All jews go to Hell
All Hindus go to Hell
All Muslims go to Hell
All Buddhists go to Hell
All non-christians go to Hell
All babies not baptized go to Hell
All people born before Jesus dies are in Hell
Out of all the people in the world who call themselves christians, about 5% actually are and get to Heaven

IN OTHER WORDS, your BENEVOLENT LOVING GOD is sending 99.99% of the population of all time to eternal Hell.
I DON'T THINK SO. Open your stupid mind.
