I guess I would compare Aretha Franklin to Alicia Keys.

it would be an insult to compare those musicians to someone who is mainstream today, it should be the other way around...
you can't remodel a legand one thing they all have in common is that they over came disabilities so they all compare to themselves, this day and age bands aren't really hurdeling over anything to major because the music industry is so big that it's practically handed to them. example: if someone like avrl, akon, or fall out boy can get record deals anyone can... and that's the mainstream music industry has been sent to hell

Most of them are incomparible. They are geniouses in there own way.
