In 2006, the Pentagon announced a severe shortage of new military recruits, so to counteract that, they raised the new recruitment age to 42 !! What's despicable is the fact that people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter are all over 45 !!

I do not support the war and never have, but I would like to say I tried to get in and they wouldn't take me (1987)--my eyesight is not correctable to an acceptable level. Their loss.
