White. Even though the straps and the little strap adjusters might be visible through the back of a shirt, that's kind of a "cool" thing for 13 year olds. But I don't think you should worry about people staring... and if you are, get over it. People that stare will stare no matter what color your daughter's bra is.

Most girls have been wearing a bra for a few years by the age of 13. And you are never going to be able to stop the human male from looking at breasts, covered or not. But if she does not want anyone to notice her bra color, then the flesh colored ones are best. They go almost undetected thru all colors of shirts.

The best thing is to wear a slightly heavier top so that the bra does not show through. You can also layer your tops to help hide it.
I usually wear a light weight tank style top under my shirt, This usually does a good job of hiding the outline, and the extra layer keeps the bra from showing through.
You may need to get a few different colors and wear the one that matches best with the color top you have. This will help hide it as well.

Hopefully you won't be standing around in your bra alot for people to take notice of the color!!!
Anyway, if you're wearing a light color shirt, a nude or white bra is best. If you're wearing something darker, go with whatever color you want! I think feeling confident starts under your clothes and always believe in wearing bright, cheerful undies!

no one should see the bra, if wearing an appropriate shirt for a 13 year old, buy white, but color should not matter

get a baige color it won't show through white clothes. A raceback bra is also good cause you can wear tank tops and not even see the bra straps I suggest go to Maidenform they have the best bras.

get a bra that is the same color as her skin. that way, it won't show through thin fabric. you can also get a 't-shirt' bra, which doesn't have embellishment that will show through.
if she wants something 'pretty,' get her something kind of frilly, but tell her she can't buy the sexy stuff until she's 18. thongs and teenagers just shouldn't mix!
