how do i sell my car?

i'm doing craigslist and ebay with little results. any suggestions?

Try changing the description of your car to emphasize the positives and point out it's benefits.

Example: Very clean '98 Honda Accord. Runs great. Well maintained. Perfect for teen's first car.

I'm going through the same thing right now! Make sure that you have your car priced right. Kelly Blue Book is a great way to make sure (link below). Also, listing online is good (just be wary the scammers). Putting a For Sale sign in the window is great. If you can park the car in an area that's okay for it, do so. By parking it in a known For Sale area, it will get more drive-by's and attention then driving it with just a sign. Flyers at local buliten boards with a picture, short description and contact information can't hurt either!

The more places you can get the word out too, the more people will see your ad.

Try an ad in your local newspaper. Do you have it priced right? When you get a buyer, go with him to the county clerks office and transfer the title to him, just be sure you have the cash first. You will also need a clear title to do this. good luck with the car.

make sure to put pictures up of the front side, left side, right side, back side and the interior front and back left and right

Easy...www.autotrader.com...you can post 9 pictures all the information...run the add until it sells...and even a spot in Auto Trader Magazine...check it out...I have sold three cars through them...
