had a crush on a guy that worked at a club I frequent, and we never really hung out, but I never really knew if I truly liked him more than a friend anyways, because it waould say weird stuff to me like one time we were talking and I sort of ended the conversation and told him I had to get going, and he asked me "How come everytime I come talk to you you're tlaking about leaving" then there was another time when I was wearing my college sweathsirt, and he's like "Oh you just want to let everyone you know you go to USC..You just flossing" then there was another time where he pikced up cell phone when it rang, and actually looked to see who was calling.. and he's been told me that I would look "good" if i cut my hair off short, because I have the right face" and then there was another time, when he came up too me and said you don't have to be here if you don't want to"! and I'm thinking why would he think that? So my question is are these bad signs of insecurity, or something else

They are signs he has taken an interest in you, whether good or bad is up to you.

Its obvious he is attracted to you, and he is trying to start a conversation with you. It sounds like he keeps trying to break the ice and you are still giving him the cold shoulder. You may not think you are, but from the information you have just stated, it sounds like you are giving this too much thought and not being natural and going with the flow.

To be honest, the dude is not throwing you lame pick up lines, he's complimenting you, he's trying to get you interested, and you're not being too responsive.

If you are not interested keep it up, if you are interested, relax and let go it can't hurt, just don't do anything you do not want to do.

This is a sign that you should stay away from this guy and find one that is more sure of himself.

He sounds as if he doesn't know how to communicate too well. I would forget about him.
