What makes man different from the animals is that God made people in his image.
Being made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27), human beings have the ability to know God—and therefore love Him, worship Him, serve Him, and fellowship with Him.

Humans are part of the animal world.
Scientists are finding that in some cases the perceived differences between Humans and other animals are becoming less and less. There are many animals that use tools. Many others exhibit traits such as intelligence (dolphins for one), loyalty (wolves for one), and the ability to pass on knowledge from generation to generation. (This is not exclusive of humans).
Have you ever heard of the "hundreth monkey theory" Basically it says that if enough monkeys learn a certain practice it becomes ingrained in all monkeys of that species.
There is also the belief that if enough Humans reach a certain level of development then humankind as a whole will advance.
We have a long way to go baby.

Mankind is just another animal. The principal difference between mankind and the other animals is that mankind is an insane species, and is destroying the earth as cancer destroys a human body. No other animal can make that claim.

Man has been endowed with a special gift!
This gift enables man to come to an understanding of the
relationship between man and his creator (God). The lower species on this planet are not endowed with this gift. This gift is a spark or light, placed in mans heart that enables man to draw closer to God or fall away, some call it free will. This spark of light is known as the human Soul. Man was created higher than all the angels. This is why Lucifer rebelled. Jealousy, pride, arrogance & envy engulfed him and he rebelled. These are also the qualities that man must stay clear of. This spark in man is what elevates man to the status of beloved children of the Father (God).
Lets all uphold our end of the bargain and act like responsible children!
God is within man - man is within God.
If we understand this well we can come to an understanding,
of (I am that I am)........................

The word "animal" is not in the KJV Bible. God made creatures and beasts, and cattle.
Man is not an animal nor is he a beast. He has an eternal soul that will will be judged. God's creatures go back to the dust.
'Mammal' is not in the Bible either. Man and his quest for order devised this category.

Man is an animal. The only difference with us human beings is that we are the only species that is hellbent on destroying its own species and anything around it.

Animals are just bodies. Mankind is a body and a spirit. However, science-wise, mankind is considered a type of animal...does that help you at all?

We humans just got lucky and became more developed than the other animals. Other intelligent animals, such as dolphins and monkeys, got sort of lucky, but not as lucky as we did.
