Physical intimacy is a normal part of any romantic relationship. However, the extent, nature, and timing of this intimacy can vary greatly between couples.

You aren't clear on what you mean by intimacy - do you mean holding hands, kissing, making out, or sex? It's normal for a guy to ask for a kiss after a date or two... but if he's asking for sex right away, it's totally reasonable to refuse. It doesn't have to cost you the relationship - yes, there are plenty of guys out there who just want sex, but there are also plenty who are happy to wait until you're ready, and to build a slow and steady intimacy.

Just be honest with these guys - when they ask for "intimacy" or try to kiss you, tell them what you do and don't feel comfortable with. Ask if they're willing to be patient and let the relationship develop before getting involved in heavy physical contact.

You are doing nothing wrong. You do not say how old you are. Not all guys are that way. By telling them no you are doing the right thing. My daughter had the same problem. She started seeing guys a few years older than her. She told me that they were more interested in her not sex. She now has a great boyfriend. I am sure there are somethings going on but he is not out for just one thing. Hang in there. Also try to see if your friends know anyone they can set you up with.

That's the way guys are. Try going with guys a little older. Maybe they are ready for more than just sex. All guys want it. Just wait the right guy will come into your life. Good luck and God bless.
