What other brands are similar, I am having a very hard time trying to find out a price or information regarding this product.

I know what you mean,there are some expensive Japanese hi fi which aren't too well known in the mainstream over here like nakameechi,your best consulting staff in specialised stores like richer sounds & the like,as a lot of the staff are into hi-fi as a hobby & have access to the relevant info.

I must be honest, I'd never heard of them, but I've checked 'em out.
Oskar speakers are made by Precide in Switzerland - the website (below) is very detailed and informative. The company seems very proud of the attention to detail and technology they use. I do like the look of the Kithara!
Prices range from about £530 to £1,350 per pair.
The only similar designs I know of, are from Mirage (Canada) and Shahinian (U.K.).
