We cannot possibly be the only form of life in the vast and expanding universe.

Its not that we cannot comprehend, it more a primeval fear, that there may be other races/beings out there. People have trouble coping with other people's faith or religions, the colour of someone else's skin.

If it were to be disclosed that there is other intelegant life in our galaxy it would completely upturn all established religions. Society would fall apart, our faith and beliefs would all need to be questioned.

Can you imagine any government allowing that to happen?

I am certain that in the future we will discover (or be discovered!) other planets and races out there. It is a sign of one-dimensional thinking of our ancestors to imagine that we are all there is in the massive universe.

Just like our ancestors believed that they were all that existed and that anyone not believeing and worshiping their god was doomed, and that the world was flat.

Imagine how people will react when they do discover that other life form, that fact alone makes it clear how insignificant and unrealistic the religions out there right now are.

Why would a powerful God focus on us, and us alone. And if there is life out there, why does the Abraham god focus only on the desert nomad tribes and nothing else?

Or, just imagine if all of these gods, come from some other being that has already been here, decided what a mind blast it would be, so magically created some miracles and acts, and now he has the whole human race on this backwater planet worshipping him. They probably talk about him in bars across the universe.

No ofcourse not.I mean look at Earth.Compared to the sun its like dust. Then look at the stars.Nearly a trillion suns in our own galaxy, which is actually smaller then most galaxies.Even with no serious investment in te field, they have found 200 planets in different solar systems in 10 years. And this is Earth based telescopes we are talking about, infact just a few days ago they found a new planet which could be habbitable, its called 581 c.Out of the 200 extrasolar planets they have found, this is the smallest, and perhaps the most equal to planet Earth. And yet it is 1.5 times larger in diameter.

I highly doubt we are alone in this universe. I believe there are different dimensions or realms that we can't detect at all and that have life that we just can't see. If I know anything about God, it is that he does BIG things and he goes way over the top. Just look at how big the universe is. I'm positive that he created tons of other intelligent creatures that are out there. They just found a planet similar to earth that could possibly support life, so the possibilities are endless.

I don't believe we are alone...I believe there are a lot of other civilizations out there. Why would we be so important ? I believe these other enlightened civilizations have been watching what we are doing to our beautiful planet, and they actually want to help us become a unified and loving world, we certainly can not continue in the direction we have been going. We need peace and love to help our fellow human beings and our earth. Without this love and cooperation between nations and people we are dooming our entire civilization. When will we all unite and save ourselves and our beautiful planet. We all need to look at what we have in common, not our differences.

Of course not. We were probably even seeded here on Earth by another master race. Plus there are other dimensions and other non physical beings that reside in these dimensions such as ghost, demons, and angels. Then we also have to consider that there is others beings that do not like us and want to harm us.

No, we are not. Would it make sense for only one planet out of at least a hundred trillion planets out there to support life? They have already proven that Mars can support life. And they found that other planet about 20 light years away.

No. I'm sure there's other life in the galaxy. There's nothing I've found in scripture that says there isn't.

I doubt it seriously. I believe that God peopled the entire universe with intelligent life.
I'm not placing any bets, though.
