I'm getting a peace sign tattooed on my right thigh and love on my left. My buddy said that any peace tattoos he has seen are on the persons left side. He also has a peace sign on his left arm. I was wondering if there is something about having peace on the left? I figured peace on the right so when you are looking at it - it goes peacelove. If peace were on the left when you looked at it - it would read lovepeace. Does it matter?

never heard that it had to be on a certain side. most people use to wear it as a necklace, so it was in the middle.

Now that you mentioned it, everyone I know with peace sign tattoos (including myself) have it on the left. I'm not sure why that is. I know I got mine on the left because I'm left-handed and therefore my left is my dominant side. My friend Naomi has one on her left side because that is the side her wedding ring is on.
But if you want it on your right, go for it. It doesn't matter what everyone else has. What matters is that it has meaning to you and that you feel balanced with it on your right.

I never really thought about that when i was getting my "peace" sign tattooed, It just happens to be on my LEFT side....... hhmph

it doesn't matter, just wear it as you like! After all it's your body.
Your peacelove/lovepeace thing makes sense, plus it's your original idea,so go with it !!

theres nothing in pop culture about what side a piece sign is supposed to be on, put it where you like it.

well if you want it on your arm then
which tattoo you like the best put it on
you strongest arm!
Or you can just put it as what ever you like
doesn't really matter!
