Do I believe they work? Yes. Do I think we should do them? No.

I am gifted. I was raised Catholic. I left the church early on because a priest said my gifts were witchcraft. So I went looking to see what that was all about.

Magic and spells are all about control. People who need to pretend they are in control. We are so NOT in control.

But I did spells. And they worked. The witches I hung out with would whisper about me behind my back. Because they couldn't do what I could. They loved my gift of discernment except for when I mentioned demons nearby. They would always poo-poo that as my Christianity "in the way."

You know the wiccan 3 fold law, right? What you do comes back 3 fold?

Any spell cast, no matter how benevolent the intent - is ill fated. Even if you cast a love spell. This other person isn't interested in you. You're going to force the issue?

By the 3 fold law then you will end up following after 3 folks who you just can't figure out why you like. Because they're really not your type.

but hey. you cast that spell. you landed that karma.

I know from experience. I cast a spell on a man. Oooo, I just wanted him SOO bad. He was beautiful. He was fun.

The spell worked. We ended up married. We were so pretty together people would just give us stuff all the time. It was bizarre.

He ended up being a totally abusive jerk. And all I can say is, I got what I deserved.

Prayer is better. I can say from experience that there is no self-power. YOU aren't casting that spell. It is something else. Something dark which only wishes for you to be away from God. Something that, in truth, hates you.

With prayer, we leave our lives in God's hand. He knows what is best for us. To the point where - sometimes the answer NO is the best answer we could get.

So yeah. I'm back at church. Have been for a very long time. I know I below. My gifts aren't witchcraft. They are charisms of the Holy Spirit. I pray for that poor priest every day.

You can believe that casting spells is very real. The thing I like about it is that being a Christian, if someone evil casts a spell at me, it will just bounce off and they will get whatever it is they want to happen to me. I know this is true because it happened within 25 to 30 miles of where I live. Some Satan worshippers cast a spell on a Bible college and it returned to hurt them.

God's power is awesome! It just can't be beat!

Yes i believe in casting spells this makes my life better and some other also good. I tried even to heal a person and because of my belief and determination something changed.
And not us pagans do spells what do you think christian prayers are?there clear and simple spells

I got into Wicca for a while (Still am, depending on the day. Experiencing a bit of religious turmoil here.) and the spells I cast were very simple (luck spells, good day spells, blessings, etc.) and for the most part, they worked. The only things that didn't work were love spells (It went against the Law of Three anyways. It was pointless) So, it depends on your view of spirituality and your goal.

As a Christian I do not believe in this!No spell is more powerful than God! Are will is the Lords will. Put your trust and faith in the Lord and not in the things of the devil.
