Have they removed it? I've noticed there is still the thumbs down picture by people's answers, although I haven't been able to give thumbs up or down for about 3 days and I don't know why. If they did remove it, i give that a thumbs down.

it truly is nice to have on a internet site like this. some solutions are trolls, incorrect, or thoroughly offensive and unrelated. whilst a question gets a thumbs down, it truly is not deleted, it basically shows a thumbs down. If there are quite some thumbs-downs on a particular answer, that could get it deleted. finally somebody has to record abuse on a remark to get it taken off. The thumbs down button basically makes it much less complicated for the asker to work out what answer is greater precise than others

How do I feel 'about' yahoo removing the thumbs-down feature? I really don't care either way.

Umm okay. Although I don't think the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons are the real problem. The real problem is the report abuse button. Too many people report abuse for any and every little thing on Yahoo Answers in general.

The thumbs down feature does not bother me at all
If someone wants to thumbs down me that's OK it their own opinion to an answer that they disagree with
I actually think its kind of funny when I do get one
Its no biggie.

i really do not care about the thumbs up and down.

what bothers me is the report user function that Yahoo does not monitor.

you can be reported for anything and all you get is an automated response from yahoo. they do not even investigate the reports. and the suspend accounts because of
childish people useing the report function not to stop abusers but to have the accounts of people that simply do not agree with them suspended.

why should they, what's wrong with people disagreeing with each others' answers. Getting a thumbs down doesn't bother me in the least.

Most of my answers get the "Thumbs Down" but thats OK. It shows me how messed up society is. Leave it.

no, its better to sign what you feel even if you feel badly about it.
Unless it is something very important to you, it would be good to keep the thumbs down
