ppl say that god luvs us ,that we have an after life ,that we go to hell or heaven depending on our deeds but -
if god had feelings for us then he can feel emotions right
but emotions are dependent on the chemical reactions in our brain ,that directly implies dat god has an intelligent brain which can think ,which means dat he is made of atoms n molecules n thus flesh and bones right ???
hence god should obey the laws of physics and so he cannot watch over all of us and help us in need
n bout heven n hell -
heven is a place where we r supposed to live for eternity after death ,where everyone and everythin is perfect
while hell is a place where u r tortured for ever or sumthin like dat
but happiness and pain are all chemical signal interpreted by our brain ,so to experience pain n other feelins we need a brain and hence, a soul cannot "FEEL"
but if our soul is capable of emotions then it is made out of physical particles n thus they cannot be called a soul at all ! am i rit

See why there are so many Atheist around? cuz all the Christian stuff makes no LOGICAL sense whatsoever. We are not afraid of death. we do prefer to live full happy lives while we are alive but when it is time to die then we realize that we will be very dead and not singing as a soul or being tortured by some devil thing

Yes, very good logic. I believe God is a person with a brain made of atoms, etc (albeit, a more advanced form of body than ours - an immortal one). That makes sense to me, too.

However, at the point where you said that God cannot watch over us all.... here is my explanation:

God delegates. Angels, etc, are recording our actions, answering our prayers, etc. They are God's "hands" and "ears" and "eyes". In addition, we all (angels included) have the Holy Ghost (a spirit/energy) that can affect the cells in our bodies to feel different things.

Souls are made up of matter (similar to atoms) only it is more "refined". Eg. beings of "light" (really just a more refined form of matter) might be made up of quarks (or something like that). I don't know anything about how their brain chemistry works, but it's all explanable.... We just don't know the explanation yet. (But God does.)

The LDS define the "soul" as "the spirit and body of man". That is, your soul is made up of two parts - spirit and body. In eternity we will all have bodies, after the ressurection. It will be an eternal body, like Gods, with a brain, etc. Therefore, no problems with the concept of a "soul" feeling stuff in eternity.

That said, LDS don't believe that "eternal torment" never stops. Punishment is affixed for each sin... and is either paid by Jesus, or paid by the offender. Once the price is paid, then the suffering ends. Since God is an eternal being, any punishment rendered by him could be considered "eternal" in the sense that it comes from God, rather than in terms of time.

P.S. It is always difficult to communicate complex concepts, so I appreciate your faith and patience in trying to understand what I've said. Sorry if I wasn't clear. BTW, I LIKE how you say "dat" and "sumthin like dat"! It's like speaking to you in person - more personal and friendly. I like your style.

I am glad that God does not follow man's logic.
Otherwise, there'd be no way for redemption to take place.
It always amazes me that so many people who don't believe in God will try to explain Him away according to their own unbelief. That is illogical.
If you could totally understand God - He would no longer be God. That may sound like a cop out, but if you really think about it, why would you want to call someone/something "God" if you could understand everything about them - you would be equal to them.
You don't believe - OK. Your choice. You examine things according to chemical reactions and such. I don't condemn you for that choice.
I believe - I don't choose to believe, I believe because of what I have seen and experienced. I have seen enough to convince that there is more to life than just chemical reactions. Science doesn't, can't and won't ever explain everything.

No you ain't rite cuz the very first words are based on a uncertain assumption....'ppl say god luvs us'. how do these ppl know what god feels or thinks? The creator may not feel or think in the way we do.

if i write a computer program and it did what i wanted it to - thats fine. but the program might 'feel and think' just like i wanted it to to accomplish the task i set it. The program might think i am the all knowing god, while i just see it as a bit of code.

the prob is that ppl think too highly of themselves. the fact is no one knows what god thinks so your conclusions cant be right

People do not go to Heaven or Hell based on their deeds but based on there belief and acceptance of Christ who died for our sins. They have given themselves to Him. Those who are counting on their good deeds alone are in for a surprise. Paul said not by works alone are we saved but by the grace of God.

God is perfect and holy. For God to let sinners in who have not been forgiven and repented would mean that He was neither perfect nor holy. That would be being weak and whishy washy. Who would want a God who changed the rules all the time. Not me. I want one who says what He means and means what He says.

As correct as you want to think it is...simply based in FACTS. The important thiing is not to ignore that there are also other ways of thinking and analysing that do not prioritize the facts, such as perceptions, emotions, sensations coming from the environment and directly affecting those facts.

Great questions! But I think you are putting "us" on the same dimension as God. I can't agree that that would be accurate. Also, the Bible explains that we were made in His "likeness" but, I don't know if that refers to His physical or spiritual likeness.

Again, excellent questions!!! I look forward to seeing the response you get.

God made us after His own image and He created our souls and spirits to live forever. Our bodies will resurrect and be perfected to join our spirit for eternity. We will live forever and not be able to die. Choose Jesus and choose heaven.

First of all you don't get to heaven dependent on deeds that is ridiculous. If we could get to heaven dependent on deeds we would'nt need a savior who is Jesus Christ ,so this makes the rest of your reasoning Null and Void!

Your logical reason is base on lies.
These lies are taught to the deceived world by the Church of the God of this world. 2 Cor.4:4
What you need to understand is who this God is.

So I invite you to check it out.
