He's one of the very few "Republicans" I'd seriously consider voting for. That "must be native born" stipulation is too rigid for the 21st century.

The Constitution clearly states that one must be native born to be President, and Arnold is not native born, but a naturalized citizen. I think the Presidency is the ONLY office which requires a natural born citizen, and then it of course would follow that the line of succession would also have to be natural born, like the Vice President, Speaker of the House and so on down the line, or they would not be able to assume the office if that time came that it became necessary.

You must have been educated in a government school otherwise you would know that Arnold Schwarzenegger cannot run for president. In order ot be president you have to be born in the USA.

it really is tempting, yet on the proper of the day i'm not fascinated in replacing the structure for one Austrian actor. remember, for each Arnold Schwartzenegger, you'll likely get ten Henry Kissingers. that is not a lot that real conservatives opt to keep the structure fixed on 1789 as one man or woman the following positioned it, yet we are truly thoughtful about replacing it. it really is why you've under no circumstances considered a pro existence change provided to the states regardless of the capacity of evangelical Christians contained in the Republican celebration. though, I do imagine that the only valid thanks to regulate the structure is through change so as that the human beings can debate the proposed change, really than through mere excellent court fiat.

I thought that was a pretty funny idea when they came up with it in the movie Demolition Man, but since he's now governor of CA maybe they'll amend the constitution to make him an acception. Hey, you never know, it could happen.
