Oh, Lilith was sooooooooooo evil. A woman who didn't want to serve a man. Tsk, Tsk. What a evil, evil woman unworthy of being married to the father of humanity.

There are un-Biblical legends that Adam had a wife before Eve who was named Lilith. The legends vary significantly, but they all essentially agree that Lilith left Adam because she did not want to submit to him. According to the legends, Lilith was an evil, wicked woman who committed adultery with Satan and produced a race of evil creatures. None of this is true. There is no Biblical basis whatsoever for these concepts. There is no one in the Bible named Lilith. Genesis chapter 1 does not record the creation of Lilith with Genesis chapter 2 recording the creation of Eve. Rather, Genesis chapter 2 is a "closer look" at the creation of Adam and Eve as recorded in Genesis chapter 1. The Bible specifically says that Adam and Eve were the first human beings ever created (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:18-25). This "Lilith" myth is popular in some radical feminist movements because Lilith is an example of a woman refusing to submit to male headship.

Adam's ONLY wife was Eve.
I find NO reference to any other in the Bible.
Chapter 1 gives a summary of the creation of Adam and Eve, and the entire 6 days of creation Chapter 2 gives a more detailed account of how and why man and woman were created.
If you believe that just because they are in two different chapters, they refer to different people, then why wouldn't you believe that the Jesus mentioned in the book of Matthew is different than the Jesus mentioned in the books of Mark, Luke, John, etc.
Sometimes logic is your best friend.

Eve! That is, if you're talking about the Adam in the Bible.
Yes, if so, than the answer would be Eve. The Bible clearly says so in the book of Genesis, and the Bible is God's true word. It says that Adam had only one wife, and that's what I believe! Adam was the first man, and Eve the first woman. In fact, I am a descendant of Eve and her husband-so are you!
Hope this helps. :)

Lilith - made up in an attempt to reconcile the different orders of creation in Genesis chapters 1 and 2. Lilith was the wife of chapter 1, Eve of chapter 2. The prototype for Lilith (according to some sources) was a Babylonian death goddess.

I assume you're taking a little too seriously the play - yes PLAY - about the first wife named Lilith who God turned into a demon because she would not be subserviant to Adam.
Sorry honey. But that's a bit like taking Rocky Horror seriously.

Water,
As far as the Bible states, Eve was Adam's ONLY WIFE! The Muslims believe otherwise but the Christians do not. I believe that the Bible is GOD's Infallible WORD. Have a great evening.
Thanks,
