Fear of being alone? The point is fear of not being alone? When I'm alone at home, at night, and I think I hear something outside--maybe someone trying to break in my house--THAT'S what scares me. When I know I am alone, with just God, I'm not afraid at all.

I don't have a fear of being alone. I don't believe in a god. How can it be that I don't fear being alone yet I'm not any gods child?

Fear is fear no matter what type it takes.
But, Human Beings were Created to be Together.
Even Adam had to have a mate after GOD saw that Adam needed one.
Probably has to do with FreeWill and the Fact that GOD is Way above us.
Jesus hadn't been born yet.
Ditto...............it is not good for man to be alone.

Its just a fear of being left alone, without someone in phsyical form. Yes God is always with you but that fear culminates from a physical human being sense.

Those who don't beleive in God certainly don't share your view. Also, some people have a personality as such that they can't stand to not have human interaction, whereas some people don't prefer any human interaction at all.
