Not necessaryly better!
besides the religion has to be a male and female...
If the child has 2 moms, he or she would lose the fatherly love. The going on camping trips, football in the backyard, fixing up the basement, fatherly love.
If the child has 2 dads, he or she would lose the motherly love.
The shopping trips, the advice, the lets go out to eat because i'm sick of cooking, motherly love.
If a boy dosn't have a father, they envy others that do.
Same goes for girls without mothers.
This happens with single parents but will happen with 2 of those "single" people.
It will be no different

People are not birds. Children learn different things from moms and dads. It takes a mom and a dad to make a baby in the first place.

It's important for a child to have parents that love them. That's all that really matter. There are enough problems now with people abusing their children, that I don't see how others could object to loving parents wanting to raise children.
Love is all that matters. I should know; I didn't have any growing up.

Absolutely yes.
I wished I had a brother. (if not having brother in my childhood bothered me) I don't know what I would have been without either my mother or father.
Also this gives a kid an option whom he should go for solace for some matters when they grow.
Regarding two dads, that's common now a days - one birth dad and one that supports family

Children need parents to love and guide them. The number or gender of said parents is not important.

There is nothing that can substitute for the biological mother and father of a child. I have known many people who were adopted and even tho they love their adoptive parents they are screwed up from it.
