It is an odd question, and one that definitely needs to be more descriptive as so many have pointed out.

I think merely by the fact that the question needed to be asked, and the answers ended up so varied that there is no clear answer.

Of course, you can say that those who call themselves Christians or those who were born Christians are largest in number and have the most political and economic power. But look around and see how many of those are actually practicing Christians or even believing Christians. So one can't say that "Christianity" is the most powerful, since most of those being called Christians don't really practice or believe in it. The same goes for the followers of the other two faiths.

I believe time will answer this question sooner or later.

By the way, there is an organization of Muslims with a central leader whose power over his followers is stronger than any worldly leader I've seen, including the Pope. This also happens to be a completely peaceful group which preaches religious tolerance and non-violance and claims to belong to the prophesied Messiah in Islam and in other religions who will bring the world together under God. It is also a group that is continuously growing. If interested visit: www.alislam.org

Christianity

Christianity, for one simple reason. There are almost one billion Catholics, a vast majority of whom believe that the Pope speaks the word of god. With one simple sentence, he can wield more power than anyone else in the world. Islam does not have a central leader with as many followers; nor does Judaism. One day, this may change due to the current growth rate of Islam, but I don't believe it to be a sustainable growth. Additionally, atheism has grown faster than all of these three combined (percentage-wise), so there is a paradigm shift occurring during our lifetime like no other before it religiously.

Christianity is by far the strongest because it is based on truth and truth is immutable.
If the question is based on which one is the most powerful at controlling then it would have to be Islam as they kill or mutilate non-conformity.
Judaism is the strongest in terms or persistence as they have been scheduled by many people for genocide since mans early history and they are still here.

I would actually have to say Islam.

That is why no one messes with Isreal. Those guys may be small, but they are one of the most lethal countries ever in the history of the world.

It would depend on what kind of power you are talking about. Political? Economical? Psychological? Numbers of people?

Christianity is defiantly more powerful (politically) just look at George Bush.
