STAY AWAY!!

I have never seen a vehicle line have more problems on my lot, before and after the sale. Last year alone I had 2 sitting here for sale and they both had major problems EVERY time you went out to show them.

Extended warranty cost is a very good judge of product reliability because they have huge research arms that study how vehicles perform long term so they don't loose $. Universal Underwriters is the largest underwriter of vehicle service contracts in the US. Let me give some cost comparisons.

All Warranties are 4yr 48k mile bumper to bumper on cars with 50,000 miles on them right now

2004 Honda Civic = $651
2004 Nissan Maxima = $706
2004 VW Passatt = $1,114
2004 Hummer H2 = $2,127
2004 Land Rover Discovery = $4,093

You draw your own conclusion!

If I trade one now I immediately run it at the auction before something breaks.

Good Luck

If you are worried about reliability DONT buy a Landie.
I'm on to may second now, lots of repairs, expensive to run, but i'd have ten more. Landies are great, like a favorite coat or a comfortable pair of boots you don't ever want to part with them. Any other 4x4 is pants x 4.

You will never see this vehicle in the top ten for reliability. The gear boxes were notorious for breaking up. They have never been much since they were sold to Ford, I think.

Steer clear unless your loaded.
High tax
High insurance
