I used to think that homosexuality was immoral. However, after meeting a few gay people, I began to think “Could this person be straight even if he wanted to?” I now feel that people do not choose to be gay. It is either genetic or stems from something in their childhood. Either way, how could a reasonable God send someone to hell for something that is out of their control? I know that most Christians will say something like, “If he would have asked God for guidance, God could have helped him be straight.” However, don’t you think that when most gay people were children and began to notice that they were different, many of them asked God for help?

If homosexuality was something that you had no choice over, there would not be condemnation of it in the Holy Bible. It is a learned behavior and can be unlearned, just as any bad habit can be unlearned.

common rumor potential that Richard Simmons is gay; even nevertheless, he denied this in a fact issued in September 2003. So even nevertheless he acts the way he does perhaps he's not or in line with danger he's in denial...who knows? can we actually care? He has helped thousands of obese human beings shed weight and income lower back their self belief so as that they might stay regularly occurring and chuffed lives. So however if he's gay, who cares?

Richard Simmons could be straight if he wanted to? You're kidding, right?
Good for you for realizing that it's not only irrational but downright sadistic to imagine and worship a God that would create humans who were automatically condemned to be punished by him just because of the very manner in which he created them.

Yes he could, not by his own power, but by the power of Jesus Christ. Ive know someone who was delivered from homosexuality and is happily married and has kids now. When Jesus paid the price at Calvary, healing and deliverance was included. Ive known gays too, I carpooled with one, they were nice people. God says the act of sex, except for sex between a man and woman who are married to each other, is sin.

God will forgive all men of their sins and make them new creatures if they will humble themselves and repent of their sins and put their trust in Jesus.
No matter what the sin is you must first just accept the fact that we are all natural born sinners and know that God has said that he will punish all sin on Judgment day.
It is a persons free will choice to continue to sin in this life, which is short anyway or, to obey God and have everlasting life which is eternal.
Heaven or Hell, I hope he chooses Heaven.

No, but he should act like he could for all our sakes. Actually as long as he stops greasing himself up and wearing hot pants he can be a sheep-shagger for all I care.

It is not a choice. The gay people a know have ALWAYS been gay, we should stop laying a guilt trip on them. They are who they are.

No. People are born the way that they are supposed to be. That means that Richard Simmons is the way that he was supposed to be.
