bad for what he has to deal with from everyone for it. I dress and act mature, but is there some way I can make my baby face not so babyish? I also dont feel I get the respect at work I deserve. I know it will be a blessing someday..but for now I need some advice!

Thanks!

I have somewhat of the same problem. I'm a 24 year old teacher, but I look really young for my age. Sometimes teachers in the hall who don't know me come up to me and ask for a hall pass. Two years ago I was at Red Lobster and they handed me the kids' menu. I have tried in the past to wear extra makeup, even put my hair up differently. I may get less questionable looks about my age, but in the same respect I am not being myself. I just try not to worry about what other people think. One day we'll both be glad when we are 40 and still look 30. :)

Don't make it any different. Just carry a legal ID stating your legal age. If you care about what others think in error--then you have a problem. If not--it's other people's problem.

Work is easy to deal with: earn the respect and don't tolerate unprofessionalism in any form.
I'm a guy, I know several women that look 17 at work who are not...I definitely don't treat them like babies...I'm more worried they'll be a b*tch at my job and unfriendly like all the other b*ast*rds I work with...

I know what you mean. What you have to do is stand up for yourself. I am the youngest in the company that I work for, and I was always getting called little girl, baby girl, youngster. Finally I was like, I know I am the youngest, but you don't have to treat me like that. The names calling stopped and they treat me as if I am the same age. That will help you with the respect you deserve at work. Elsewhere, just let them look. They are just jealous because you look young. They are just wishing they either looked like you, or was with you. Haters gonna hate, so just ignore them.

Oh sweetie, I'm sorry. I understand your pain a little bit. My sister is 4'9 and 24 years old. She has the same problem. If you are trying to look more grown up, maybe go to Dillards or another big store in the mall and have them do a makeover for you. They will give you great tips on how to brighten up your face. Good luck!

Well, as long as you can prove your 24, i dont really see a problem with your situation. Its alright i guess. Now i have a problem! The only chicks i can attract are aged 15 or lower because i look like a damn kid. I'm 18!!!

i think you should stay exactley the same these people you work with are just jelous that your aging a lot better than them. and as for your boyfriend he may be taking some heat for it but you know what's going through his mind is probably he doesn't worry about it cuz your hot and he knows your his and that your not 16. so my advice is to keep it real and enjoy your young looking face because eventually you won't look so young.

Just try to dress a little more conservative and look professional. People are just idiots sometimes and you don't need to explain anything to them.

Plus you are making me feel old at 30.... Because I might look 30!

Don't try to do anything. I've got the same problem, I'm 27 and look 18. It happens. Why do you care what strangers think anyways?

Give it 20 years and you will miss this face...

I'm 48 and my fiancee is 24... I actually am proud that I can have a good looking younger woman... maybe your man is too?

LOL I know how you feel...I'm 26 and still look like I'm 21. =)
That's a good thing though and as long as your boyfriend knows that then that's all that should matter. =)
