for the last 2 years we have been trying to potty train my girl.
she is now 4 almost 5 years old and she will pee in the potty but she won't poop in the potty.. we have tryed some many different things and nothing is working... we need help,
i'am due to have a baby any day and only need one in diapers. if anyone has any ideas please tell me.. thanks to all who respond....

giver her underwear. big girl panties.
make a big deal out of being a big girl and buy ones with her favorite cartoon or storybook characters.
she won't want to soil them.
if this doesn't work it may be time to see her physician.

It's going to be gross at first, but make an event out of it. Do this over the weekend, and don't make plans on going anywhere too important.
Take her to the store and let her pick out the prettiest princess panties or whatever she wants. Buy her several packages and then have her help you wash and dry and fold them.
Make a special place for them in her dresser and really make it special to her. Then take away the training pants completely and never bring them back.
The first time she poops on her princess, pony or whatever underwear, make a big deal of that too. Tell her that she needs to poop in the potty so that he special friends don't get all dirty and ruined. Be prepared to throw the poopy panties away just in case!
You are not only teaching her ownership and responsibility, but you're also showing her that she has the decision to keep her things pretty or make them dirty.

I had the same problem with my daughter - took her forever.
You can try having her clean up her own mess. Then try some of the standards, bribing her w candy when she goes #2 on the potty, tell her the characters on her pullups dont want to get dirty (omg - you just pooped on cinderella), go shopping & get her big girl panties & say shes going to be just like mommy, buy her something she wants & dont give it to her cause shes not a big girl yet, sticking her on the toliet every hour, being a cheerleader when it happens, not doing some of her fav things cause she's not a big girl.
what finally worked for my daughter, an above average girly girl, was that I said she was gross & not a little girl but a baby. this is horrible, I know & it hurt me to say it to my angel - but it worked..
just remember accidents do happen and people can suggest a million different things, but its your daughter and for as unique as she is, the solution will be just as unique. So take some of the suggestions & get creative, you know her best. Just make sure you tweek them to what is her motivating factors.

stop buying diapers in her size. its time to to punish and shun her for this you need to make her poop in the potty
