To me God has no gender at all, but somehow I always end up referring to God as 'He.' Maybe I'm searching for fatherly figure? I don't know why, but it's much easier for me to see God as He :)

I follow the Christian God. I don't have a problem seeing God as female. Actually, my view of it is this. I do not see God as male or female, but I see God as both male and female. God is not a human being. We need the attributes of how big something is, what color it is, gender, and other physical descriptions. We need things like that so we can fathom a God that is really uncontainable and indescribable. I see God as both male and female. It doesn't bother me. For some, just because we give God a male pronoun (He) then he MUST be male and nothing else. We forget that the name that God gave to Moses was Yahweh. It means "I am" It never meant "I am male" or "I am female". God simply is. For some, it's hard to see any God as female because we still believe females are below males.

I am male. It used to be very hard for me to think of God in female terms. The idea of the church being the bride of Christ was very hard for me, too.

But, as the Holy Spirit grows in me, and He seems to be growing every single day in me, I have started to understand that since God created both men and women, He surely has the wonderful qualities of both sexes. He knew that those things missing from a man's heart could be found in a woman's heart and when the two become one flesh under God's eternal law... the power released cannot be measured.

I am so amazed at the mind of God and how unlimited His power is. So, while my answer is Yes for now, I know that as the Spirit continues to grow in me, more understanding will come. Praise God for His plan and His never ending love and compassion. We have such a good God.

Yes I do. Because everything I've seen in Christian religion/Bible/readings and at church portrays "The Father". I really don't know the details of other religions so I can't say whether a female God is a possibility. God Bless!

I'm Christian and no not at all. We were made in His image as well. We definitely have more creative power than men but it takes both kinds of people in order that the world work. He is the first mother I ever had. As a child I had my dad but no mother. When I had children I was so afraid of not being a good mother and prayed often for Him to show me and He did. Further I wonder often if Holy Spirit is feminine.

I always consider God in the literal sense of something that is beyond human nature and beyond true human understanding. This being the case, God is neither or both male and female. God is all sexes, all nationalities, all creatures, all creation. God should be referred to as God without gender. So I don't find it hard, no.

No, for God is 3in one God the Father Gopd thE sONE AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT so it's father and son.
but if you belive in from my christian perspective FALSE go's then i wouldn't really find it hard to belive God was a female if there are loads of others gods. just look at greek mythology. BUT there is ONLY ONE TRUE GOD!
yours in Christ.

I find it hard to think of God at all but I suppose it is not surprising that these ancient middle-eastern religions (christianity, judaism, islam) made their God a man.

You know we get used thinking of Him like a man, a Father in Heaven, the Father in the Holy Trinity , a wise long bearded old man and so. However I don't think of Him having a gender.
