You can give to local charities,you can also make national donations to them through the local chapter.
I think you can go to the IRS website and get a list of legitimate charities you can donate to and which ones are scams.
You may be able to start your own non-profit org.to dole out charity as you see fit,just make sure you go by the rules or the IRS will knock on you door.

There are thousands of charitys from oxfam to gingerbread. Firstlty decide what kind of charity you want to support, kids, animals, aids, orthans, twins ect. Then you can find out where they are and then donate the money. Any charity would be pleased for any donation and in the UK alone there are several thousand differant registered charities

Last year 2 lovely men called at my girlfriends nans house saying they were from the council and were here to paint the windows while nan made these lovely men a brew 1 of them went in her bedroom and took £800 which i was going to bank for her later that day ihope they bought nice things and donated it to a charity i also hope they are proud of themselves what a place england has become i m more proud of my polish ancestry viva a polska

If you mean where can you hand in money you have collected, most banks display posters saying money can be paid in for a particular charity event.

there are alot of good worthwhile charities to give to, check them out first. you should give your money to a charity that represents something that your interested in and makes you feel good to help them out
