The orifice tube and expansion valve are located where the a/c hoses connect at the firewall. Since Autozone doesn't list it, it is probably a dealer item.

It is an Expansion Valve, not a Variable Oriface.

Aluminum block on the firewall with the ac hoses from the Compressor going to it.(just trying to get him there OK)

They are commonly available from REAL parts stores that service the industry(car repair). NAPA will have and if not hit the yellow pages. Probably have to order one so understand that ahead of time.

Why? do you need one????? Ask a better question about what you are attempting to do. You may cost yourself a lot of money or get hurt.
