Someone's just bought something from me on ebay, and they're from Spain (I'm english). When I recieved the e-mail telling me where to send it, it was in spanish, including the address. Should I mail him and ask him for his address in english (cos he speaks english), or should I just put the spanish address on the package?

Thanks much

write the address in Spanish...if you translate it chances are the Spanish mail may not understand it! plus names of streets and roads usually keep their names in their original language...you could simply write SPAIN in parenthesis next to ESPAÑA, although I am pretty sure your post office will know what España means...all they need to know is what country it is going to...once it gets to Spain, the Spanish mail will take care of it

You don't need to translate his address to English. Imagine if it were the other way around, and he wrote your address in Spanish...chances are the package would never get to you! Write the address on the package exactly as he sent it to you, add "Spain" to the end, and it should get there fine.

Take the email to your local Post Office. They will be able to tell you how to format the Spanish address for international shipping. I honestly think the address needs to be in Spanish but I think there is a conversion something or another that you get at the post office that where the US post knows how to get it to the Spanish post and then they can mail it to the person.

Yes, you just put the spanish address on the package, but put English name`s country (Spain)

Address do not admit translation.

Just copy the address exactly as is in Spanish on your label and then on the bottom add: SPAIN.

That should do it!

You are supposed to write the address in Spanish exactly the same way they sent it to you.

If you don´t, it will never arrive.
