I don't have the number breakdown, but most Army chaplains understand that LDS services do not fall under Protestant services.
Perhaps you could go to an Internet search engine and find a more accurate answer.

I called Military Relations at the church and asked them. Br. Clawson said there were about 36,000 in the Reserve, Guard and active duty.

Quite a few actually. I learned about LDS when I was active duty many many moons ago, from I guy I worked with in base legal.
