a light year is a measure of distance. it's the amount of distance distance light can travel in one year. light travels at approx. 186,000 miles per second. for those who got it right. give yourselved a thumbs up!!!

labgrl, sort of right... however space implies 3 dimensions where as distance traveled is a one-dimensional measurement.

angel, what this proves is that the answers pertaining to science are not in the bible. i cannot answer your question. for me to say, "the bible says this..." would not answer your question either. get it now?
