a light year is a measure of distance. it's the amount of distance distance light can travel in one year. light travels at approx. 186,000 miles per second. for those who got it right. give yourselved a thumbs up!!!

angel, what this proves is that the answers pertaining to science are not in the bible. i cannot answer your question. for me to say, "the bible says this..." would not answer your question either. get it now?

2. I'm not sure as I'm old and school far in past but I believe it is how far light travel in a year in relation to speed some way. But I am not a scientist just a girl. Well an old girl.
