i worked at an amusement park, but its best that, if you dont mind working hard, to start a local lawn care buisness. just mow lawns and rake leaves. dog walking if you live in a city. there are all sorts of odds and ends jobs you can do and they pay way better than most jobs you will be able to get at 16.

Jesus H. Christ "La Buena"....don't be such a damn b**i**t**c**h. We all know the poster meant to say "hire"
My daughter was hired at Wendy's at age 15. I also know Dairy Queen hires at age 15. You could also work at a Library, or do babysitting or work at a garden center or do pet sitting.
Lots of luck!

Grocery stores are good. Also, while most people make bad jokes about it, fast food places are constantly hiring, especially for summer. They also have no problem working around your schedule.
